History of Past Pupils Associations
One hundred and forty years ago, on the 1st of May 1869, the portals of Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena opened its doors to welcome the first Shepherdian to the school.
It is only fitting today to take our minds back to the Past Pupils Association which was founded in 1915. Mother Mary of St. Aloysius who had already been in Ceylon for 25 years initiated a move to form an Association of Past Pupils.

It is only fitting to mention a few stalwarts who paved the way to make the Past Pupils Association what it is today – to name a few - Mrs. Clara De Mel, Mrs. Elizabeth Perumal, Mrs. Ula Andriesz, Mrs. Marjore Alles and Mrs. Princy De Alwis.
